JOB SUMMARY:
The Billing/Route Settlement Clerk is under the direction of the FAM (Financial Administrative Manager). The Billing Clerk/Route Settlement Clerk’s primary responsibility is to support the billing and route settlement functions, scanning, and other essential clerical functions at the plant level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily invoice the customers.
Daily settle inventory and sales on the distribution routes.
Research billing and inventory variances for both customers and the distribution group.
Process a limited amount of pick ticket adjustments - for warehouse orders only.
Scan paperwork daily into the On Base system for AR retrieval.
Daily sort and deliver the incoming mail and take outgoing mail to the post office.
Assist the sales department as needed. Example would be to print/mail customer order guides, special mailings, filing, etc.
Backup the receptionist as needed answering the switchboard.
Perform other duties as assigned by the FAM.
Conduct business in an ethical manner consistent with the Dean Foods Code of Conduct.

Minimum of 3 years clerical experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Strong 10 Key skills
Previous experience in AS400 system helpful
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels in the organization.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

As the Analyst of Financial Services and a member of our financial reporting and services group which is comprised of four team members, you will gain overall knowledge of the diverse financial operations of a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and will play a significant role in the Company's planning and reporting processes including supporting the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.
To be successful, you must be interested in exploring and understanding the Company's multifaceted operations. In addition, you will need to utilize your analytical skills and intuition to evaluate financial statements and implement process efficiencies. You have to be comfortable using Business Intelligence (BI) tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to build financial reports and assist in improving the planning and information distribution processes. You will also be expected to learn the functionality of the financial systems and be able to help with testing performance during system upgrades.
There are three main internal customers you will interact with on a daily basis: Planning, Financial Services and the Company's Operating Units. With a birds-eye view into each business unit, you will acquire a fundamental insight into the key motivators and economic drivers which over a period of time will allow you to identify ways to improve the profitability and effectiveness of the business. Your customers will look to you to use your problem solving skills to apply solutions both to issues you uncover and those that your customers bring to your attention.
As the Analyst of Finacial Services whose position is roughly 50% analytical and 50% technical, you will:
Build productive working relationships with your team members and internal customers by actively collaborating on projects and keeping them apprised of new developments
Evaluate ways to improve our internal clients' productivity by working with business users to gather requirements and assess risks
Maintain and/or modify database outline structures within the Business Intelligence (BI) tool
Assign system user responsibilities and approve security for user access
Support financial applications by resolving production issues and respond to users questions
Maintain application reports/structures
Revise system calculation scripts, business rules, planning forms and financial reports
Modify data load rules and perform data loads and exports to assist budget, business intelligence, reporting and other objectives
Facilitate documentation to support the execution of end user training
Maintain system administrator manual to execute process requirements
Test, validate and organize application upgrades with IT and user community. Develop relationships with customers
